The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited applications for the KAS (Preliminary) Exam (J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination) 2017-2018. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the examination before June 12, 2017-2018.

J&K Police (G) Service: 16 posts
J&K Accounts (G) Service: Two posts
Total number of posts: 51
Applicant must be a permanent resident of the State. He or she obtained a Bachelor degree from a recognized University in India, or from a foreign University, declared by the Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree from a recognized Indian universities.
The candidate should be aged between 21 to 35 years (in the case of candidates AUM) as of 1 January 2017-2018. The candidate must have been born earlier, not 1 January 1980 and no later than 1 January 1993.

Application forms “preliminary study” along with a copy of the SRO 387 dated 01.12.2008 as amended from time to time contains the syllabus, instructions to fill out the “application form”, and “recognition” card and envelope to provide the application forms will be available from 12 January 2017-2018.
