The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has declared the results of the secondary school certificate (SSC) and higher secondary certificate (HSC) examinations on Tuesday. The results can be accessed at the official website of the Maharashtra State Board.
The HSC and SSC exam results are available at the official websites mahresult.nic.in and www.msbshse.ac.in. Now, the students can obtain the break-up of marks scored in each subject.
Students can collect their marksheets from their resoectuve colleges on November 29.
The examinations for HSC and SSC were held from September 25 to October 17. According to Maharashtra Board officials nearly 2.16 lakh candidates appeared for the secondary school certificate (Class X) and 1.81 lakh for the higher secondary certificate (Class XII).
Candidates who want to apply for revaluation can submit their application form after they get their marksheets along with the prescribed fee.
According to the Board’s instructions, students have been asked to attach a photo copy of the original marksheet with the main application and submit it to the respective centres by December 9.
The last date to apply for the February-March examination in
2017/2018 is December 5 and with late fee the date has been extended till December 14.
Students can obtain the application forms from their respective colleges. Likewise, students can also apply for class improvement scheme in the February-March

According to the grapevine, approximately 14 lakh students appeared for the Class 10th examination that was conducted in the tenure of 23 days. In
2017/2018, the Maharashtra SSC Result was declared in the first week of June 2017/2018 hence this year too, the results are expected to be declared around the same time.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune was established on 1 January 1966 under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965 which was amended and the board was renamed as Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). The objective of the board was to standardize certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the state of Maharashtra, India. The primary role of the board is to conduct the SSC and HSC examination.
