MHT CET Common Entrance Test 2018 Results

 Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MT CET) is conducted by the DTE to take admission in the first year of the four year full time regular degree courses in Engineering/ Technical and Pharmacy to in any college of the Maharashtra.The role of the Directorate is to maintain, enhance the standard, quality of technical education by laying the policies, establishing developing Govt. Institutions, guiding supervising the aided, private institutions, interacting with industry and national level institutions, co-ordinating with other departments of State Government, Government of India Statutory Organisations and to contribute to the development of industry society at large.

The MT CET was conducted on 16 May 2017/2018 at different centers of Maharastra state. Lots of students from Maharashtra and outside of Maharashtra as well had given the exam to study in the colleges of Maharashtra. Now all are waiting for the result to declare.

All the anxious students can view their result from the official website of MT CET. From the marks of this exam 60% will be considered to make the merit marks and from this merit mark students can get admission to any engineering college of Maharashtra whether it is private or government.

The students who appeared in Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test 2017/2018 (MT CET) conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) can access their results today by logging on to the official website of DTE

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra will be declaring the results of Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test 2017/2018 (MT CET) today.

The exams were conducted on May 16 this year in which about 2,85,193 candidates appeared in the test for admissions into under-graduate courses in engineering and pharmacy in the state.

Earlier, Maharashtra Health and Technical – Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) used to be conducted which used to be a combined entrance exam for engineering, pharmacy and health sciences degree courses in the state.

It was only last year when single entrance for medical and dental admissions in the country called “NEET” was introduced by the union Government and then Maharashtra changed the MHT to MT and kept it for admissions into engineering and pharmacy courses only.

Next year MT CET will be dissolved as the admissions into the said courses will be done through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) scheme.
