Union Public Service Commission Notifies Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination Recruitment 2016 – 2017 

UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2016 – 2017:-

Commission will hold an All India Examination on 20th October 2016 – 2017 for recruitment of Assistant Commandant ‘Group A’ in CAPF viz BSF, CPF, ITBP and CISF . Approximate 424 Vacancies. The Examination will comprise of Written Examination in two phases- Physical Endurance Test, Medical Examination and Interview/personality test.

CISF- 56

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should have bachlor degree from any recognised university. A candidate must have attained 20 years of age and must not have attained the age of 25 years on the 01st August, 2016 – 2017.

WRITTEN TEST:-

The written test will be held on 20th October 2016 – 2017. The written examination to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission will comprise two papers as follows.

Paper-I: General ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks

Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks

The Online Applications can be filled up to 5th August, 2016 – 2017 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

IMPORTANT DATES:-

Start Date of Online Application: 6th July 2016 – 2017
Last date to submit application: 5th August, 2016 – 2017
Date of Entrance Test: 20th October 2016 – 2017

NOTE:- Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres, except Delhi, Dispur, Nagpur, Kolkata and Channai. Allotment of Centres will be on the ‘first-apply-first allot’ basis, and once the capacity of a particular Centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.
